My song of the week is "Falls" from The Mission (1986) soundtrack, by Ennio Morricone.

I'm not overly religious, but I really liked The Mission. Set in Brazil in the 1700's, Robert De Niro stars as a repentant slave hunter who joins forces with Jeremy Irons and other missionaries who are protecting a native tribe from the Portuguese army. It's very well shot and acted and Ennio Morricone's score is awesome.

Robert De Niro is comforted by Jeremy Irons, Liam Neeson and others at the conclusion of an arduous trek to the mission.
