Finn Balor vs Brock Lesnar: Part 2 (WWE, 2019)

Brock seemed to have Finn beaten but his stomach was injured and Brock wasn't as dominant as he usually is. Brock gingerly picked up Finn for an F5, but Finn turned it into a DDT for a near fall. Finn knocked Brock out of the ring and then hit him with 3 consecutive flip dives (or Tope con Hilos). Finn hit Brock with some dropkicks and his finisher the Coup de Grace but Brock kicked out and and immediately snatched Finn in a Kimura Lock (or Double Wristlock). Finn hung on for a minute but eventually tapped out. Brock wasn't satisfied with the win and attacked Finn after the bell. Brock delivered 3 German suplexes and an F5 before leaving Finn broken in the ring.   Like most of Brock's matches, this was short but sweet. Finn got a good amount of offense before Brock got his heat back. I think it would've been nice if Finn got another hope spot before the finish but overall this was about as good as I was hoping for.

Finn Balor vs Brock Lesnar: Part 1 (WWE, 2019)

I must admit my interest in the WWE is as low as it's ever been. I keep up with the news but I rarely watch these days. I was intrigued by this match though. Finn is much smaller but very tenacious, can he will himself to win? Finn's clearly nervous about locking up with "the Beast" Finn immediately charged at Lesnar with dropkicks and forearms. Finn got caught eventually and took a couple of suplexes. Brock tried to slam Finn on a table but Finn pushed Brock stomach first into a corner. Lesnar continued to dominate Finn but his stomach was still bothering him. Eventually, Finn knocked down Brock and went for another charge but Lesnar nailed Finn with a huge clothesline. Brock seems to have the match under control but can he cruise to victory or will Finn exploit Brock's injury?

Eli Black vs Chace LaChance (BGE, 2016)

Lean MMA fighter Eli takes on muscle stud Chace in this  match from BG East. Eli is doing some jumping jacks and shadow boxing outside the ring when Chace interrupts him. Eli surprises Chace with a shoulder to the gut, followed by a sunset flip. Eli tries to pin Chace a couple more times before Chace hurts Eli's back with a slam. Chace follows up with a couple elbow drops and a chinlock, which has Eli crying out in pain. Chace thinks he has Eli weakened but Eli shocks Chace with a flying armbar and takes control. Eli scores the first submission, but he's unable to maintain his dominance for long when Chace targets his sore back. Can Eli fight though the pain and make a comeback or is Chace simply too strong?

Screencap Recap #28

Tanner Hill & Chase Lundquist vs Dash Decker & Brock Hartman (88W) Lucky Larson vs Ace Owens (Can-Am) Kid Thing vs Jack Beaver (TA) My song of the week is "Something Happened On The Way to Heaven" performed live by Phil Collins. I had the pleasure of seeing Phil live this week in my home city. Phil was one of the first artists I gravitated to as a child, so it was great to finally see him live.
