WR's Screencaps

Vertex Wrestling is back online temporarily, so I decided to feature this match while I can. Lean, young Griffin faces a tough challenge with beefy vet Grizz. Griffin (in blue) vs Grizz (in red). Griffin looks confident as he's waiting in the corner.  When they meet in the center of the ring, Grizz claims to not know who Griffin is. Grizz convinces Griffin to turn around, giving Grizz an opening for a sneak attack. Griffin is able to maneuver his way out the choke and locks in a Boston Crab. "Have you learnt my name yet?", asks Griffin. Griffin shows a bit of heelish attitude when he applies a headscissor on Grizz. Griffin's time on top is fleeting, as Grizz reverses into a chinlock. "You're gonna learn your lesson the hard way.", says Grizz. "I don't hear you talking now?" Once Grizz gets on top, he maintains control. Grizz methodically breaks Griffin down until he's just a limp ragdoll. It's an old school, daddy vs. son match exec...

Bodhi Hayward vs Von Wagner - WWE NXT 2.0 Griffin Kody vs Bison (Vertex Video Wrestling) Brady Booker vs Dak Draper - AEW Dark #184 It's been a while since my last "song of the week" and I'm feeling in a romantic mood, so I've decided to pick 4 songs today. 1. Overture (aka Ilia's Theme) from Star Trek: The Motion Picture - Jerry Goldsmith Honestly, I think the movie is a bit boring but it has a beautiful soundtrack. This song plays over an empty sky before the credits begin. 2. Butterflies -  Michael Jackson This is one of MJ's most romantic songs and in my opinion, one of his best. It should've been a bigger hit. 3. Woman (Stripped Down Mix) - John Lennon I like the original version but I think it's a bit over-produced. In this version, there's only the essential instruments and Lennon's voice, front and center. Bonus Track - Sweet Love (Anita Baker cover) by Funsho. The original version is a classic, but I may prefer this acoustic g...

Lean ginger boy Griffin Kody is in over his head against Bison in this video from Vertex Video Wrestling. Bison plays the gentleman and allows Griffin to make the first move. Griffin applies a headlock but it's totally ineffective. Bison breaks out and applies a headlock of his own. "This is what we call a headlock," says Bison. Bison lets Griffin out and then applies a bearhug that has Griffin whimpering and moaning. Bison seems to have Griffin under control but a gut shot allows Griffin to take over. Of course, Griffin can't keep Bison down for long. Griffin's look appealed to me, so I bought this video and I think it was worth it. It's a semi-squash, Griffin gets to show some fire, but the result was never in much doubt. This video is approx. 21 mins long - $17 for HD, $25 for 4K
