Greg Worthy vs Matt Houston (Wrestle Studs) Rory MacLeod vs Jonny Firestorm (BG East) Jesse Zane vs JJ Allen (Muscle Boy Wrestling) It took almost 7 years to finally reach my 100th recap post. It's a momentous occasion for me anyway. Thanks to all of you who have enjoyed my blog over the years. To celebrate the occasion, I've chosen Firth of Fifth by Genesis as my "song of the week". Most people know Genesis from their pop hits from the 80's and early 90's but are unaware of their progressive rock  albums of the 70's. To be honest, the lyrics have never resonated with me too much, but the instrumental parts are so strong it doesn't matter.  At 3:05 the instrumental break begins. At 4:42 you get an epic synth solo from Tony Banks, with strong support from bassist Mike Rutherford and drummer Phil Collins. At 5:44, guitarist Steve Hackett crafts a melodic solo that goes over 2 minutes. If you're a guitar fan, you'll definitely want to check that ...

Two evenly matched muscle boys get hot and horny in this video from Muscle Boy Wrestling. https://muscleboywrestling.com/video/c003-m06-jj-allen-vs-jake-zane JJ Allen vs Jesse Zane (MBW, Catalog 3)  The video starts with JJ stretching. Jesse walks in and JJ immediately starts admiring Jesse's body, even though says Jesse has a "jobber build." Suddenly, JJ snatches Jesse up into a bearhug. "Feel the power?" JJ keeps the pressure on, transitioning to a long headscissor. JJ tells Jesse, " I know you like taking it, cause you're gonna be taking it for a while." JJ seemed to be firmly in control until a series of low blows allowed Jesse to take over. Jesse gets his revenge and goes on to torture JJ for the rest of the match. As always, Jesse mixes wrestling with passion as well as anyone. To me, this a quintessential Muscle Boy Wrestling match. You've got two cute guys who have strong chemistry and can wrestle well. I don't think you can ask for...

The truth of the matter is I've just been hanging on these last few months. I'm not overly happy in my personal life and I haven't been too motivated to blog either. Nonetheless, I will look back at some of my favorite videos that I've covered over the years. 88Wrestling Cody Everett vs Rex Bedford: Ultimate Upset? Cody seemed to have all the tools to become a superstar, but it wasn't to be... A short run is better than no run though and this is my favorite of his matches. Credit to Ethan Andrews as well for having numerous memorable matches. His matches against Dash, Tanner, Jett and Matt Miller particularly stand out to me. Wrestler4Hire Ace Owens vs Ronnie Pearl: Knocked Out To me, Ace Owens is an ideal babyface. When he's wearing this outfit his appeal goes up even higher. Then he gets squashed by pro heel Ronnie and this match becomes a classic. Now that 88W is inactive, Wrestler4Hire is my go-to for underground wrestling action. But there's a situation...

Yes, I've made several posts about match over the years. I've never uploaded these photos at 1440p before. Personally, I think it's worth revisiting. Taylor Reign vs Jesse Zane (MBW, Catalog 6)
