WR's Screencaps

Beastyboy vs Tyler French: How Low Can You Go? (88Wrestling) Mason Brooks vs ?: Gym Socks & Hard Cocks Dimitri Darkthorn vs Gabe Steele (W4H) My "song of the week" is Land of Hopes and Dreams by Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band. The song was inspired by The Impressions song People Get Ready .  Springsteen and his band add a rock twist and elevate it with an epic performance. If you want to see the full concert, see the playlist below. It's a great, high energy show. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIveWZmYDjBmAdYt7T-NVNx7B3cJutoWs

Lanky pretty boy Dimitri gets put through the wringer by Gabe Steel(e) in this video from Wrestler4Hire. https://wrestler4hire2.com/products/dimitri-darkthorn-vs-gabe-steele We get a nice stretching scene with Dimitri before Gabe enters the ring. Gabe enters and gives Dimitri a good look over. Dimitri is put off and says he's "not on the menu." Gabe replies, "We'll see about that." Dimitri gets off to a promising start, evading Gabe with a couple of snapmares. Dimitri is feeling confident, but that feeling is fleeting. Gabe is slow to get to his feet, so Dimitri leans in to check on him. Gabe takes the opportunity to snatch Dimitri by the throat. Gabe quickly overpowers Dimitri, leaving him gasping for air. Gabe alternates between low blows and back punishment. All the while, Dimitri is crying out in pain. By the midpoint, Dimitri is done but there's still a lot of pain ahead. If you want to see Dimitri suffer, this is match for you. I certainly enjoyed ...

Slash Morgan vs Dr. Maniacal: Hero Hunks (W4H) Pretty boy Slash gets totally crushed by Dr. Maniacal in this match from Wrestler4Hire. There is an energy on show here that elevates this above your typical squash match. See my original review here.

Dr. Maniacal vs Slash Morgan: Hero Hunks (W4H) A chinlock can be a boring move, depending on the caliber of the wrestlers. Many wrestlers treat a chinlock as a "rest hold". Dr. M and Slash (aka Dimitri Darkthorn) don't rest in this hold, they work this hold. See my original review here. The Wrestler4Hire site has a big sale until March 11, 2022.

RedJay's Demise (Hard Heroes) Dark Lord aka Dimitri Darkthorn puts RedJay's lean body on display with this half crab. Dark Lord clearly reveled in his destruction of RedJay.  See my original review here.

Lanky lad Slash Morgan (Dimitri Darkthorn) falls victim to Dr. Maniacal in this video from  Wrestler4Hire. Slash is confident at first, evading the Dr.'s attack. Slash says, "Your evil won't work on me." The Dr. soon corners Slash and drops him with a clubbing forearm. The Dr. sees his back is hurt and stays on it for the rest of match. Slash's pretty face is contorted with pain for most of the match. Dr. M helps Slash fly but then sends him crashing to the mat. The Dr. squashes Slash with a splash and then chokes Slash with his own cape. Dr. M tortures Slash with a long wedgie. Slash offers a little resistance.  But the result is never in much doubt. Usually, Dimitri / Slash is a heel, so I thought it was a treat to see him as a vulnerable babyface. It also helps that he offers a little resistance, as opposed to being a total punching bag.  From an action standpoint, this was probably the best of the 3 Dr. Maniacal matches I've reviewed.
