The truth of the matter is I've just been hanging on these last few months. I'm not overly happy in my personal life and I haven't been too motivated to blog either. Nonetheless, I will look back at some of my favorite videos that I've covered over the years. 88Wrestling Cody Everett vs Rex Bedford: Ultimate Upset? Cody seemed to have all the tools to become a superstar, but it wasn't to be... A short run is better than no run though and this is my favorite of his matches. Credit to Ethan Andrews as well for having numerous memorable matches. His matches against Dash, Tanner, Jett and Matt Miller particularly stand out to me. Wrestler4Hire Ace Owens vs Ronnie Pearl: Knocked Out To me, Ace Owens is an ideal babyface. When he's wearing this outfit his appeal goes up even higher. Then he gets squashed by pro heel Ronnie and this match becomes a classic. Now that 88W is inactive, Wrestler4Hire is my go-to for underground wrestling action. But there's a situation...

  JC Extreme vs T-World: #85 Birthday Bash (UK Wrestling Hub) I imagine there would be some people who would watch this match and dismiss it as "boring". Personally, I think it was a treat to to see T-World squashed so decisively. See my original review here.

  Kayden Keller vs Nathan FX (BG East) Dirty D vs Dallas Washington (Weekend Wrestling) Birthday Bash: JC Extreme vs T-World (UKWH) My "song of the week" is Guinnevere performed live by David Crosby & The Lighthouse Band.  This video was shot just months before his death and it's clear he was still in good form. Of course, his tight backing band helped a lot too. If you like this song, you might want to check out these renditions. It's JC Extreme's party, but T-World's the one crying out in pain, in this video from UK Wrestling Hub. JC is in the ring with his cake and hat, calling his friends to come over and celebrate his birthday, but no one is answering.  Suddenly, T-World walks in, cocky as usual. He makes a few snarky comments at JC's expense and then turns his back on JC. A quick low bow, followed by a slam and a long bow and arrow stretch sap the strength out of T-World. WR's edit original video JC follows up with a long, torturous backbreaker. WR's edit original video A cobra clutch almost puts T-World out, but JC isn't finished yet. T-World tries to bribe JC with the promise of a present but JC isn't buying it. T-World's suffering has only just begun. It's safe to say, someone's leaving with cake on his face.
