Pretty boy Travis suffers at the hands of wily veteran JBW (Jack Worthington) in this match from Weekend Wrestling.
Travis gets a little stretching and some push ups in before JBW arrives.
JBW arrives and Travis identifies him as "the cheap shot guy." Travis wants JBW to teach him some of that "cheap shot stuff."
JBW says he keeps his secrets to himself and then fires a quick back elbow that leaves Travis dazed.
JBW is clearly an experienced pro, he knows how to use the ropes to his advantage.
Travis is overwhelmed by JBW's attack. Travis is defenseless as JBW ties his feet together with his own bootlaces. There's no reason why, JBW just does it because he can.
Aside from a brief hope spot, Travis gets totally squashed.
While JBW did a very good job as the heel, I'm still hoping Travis faces Cole Cassidy or Brendan Byers (or both). I'm sure if they ever faced Travis, they would deliver the epic wrestling lesson Travis has been looking for.
Nevertheless, this match is still highly recommended.
