Muscleboy Cason faces tough, seasoned pro Brute in one of his earliest matches at Thunders Arena. Cason's confident as he sizes up Brute. Brute doesn't waste any time locking up. He doubles over Cason with a boot to the gut and proceeds to stretch Cason for several minutes. Check out Cason's trunks. Is he enjoying his punishment? Cason gets tangled up in the ropes and it seems like the end is near. I really loved the shots here, you can't get much more intimate than this. Suddenly, Cason gets a burst of energy and hoists up Brute in a series of bearhugs. Can the rookie pull off an upset? Personally, I would've preferred to see Cason get off to a strong start and then get demolished at the end. That said, I haven't seen anyone else dominate Cason so convincingly, so that's enough to make this match worthwhile for me.

Beefy bulls Dax and Derek lock horns in this match from Muscle Boy Wrestling. The video opens with Derek posing. Dax comes in and does some posing himself.  After a little sizing up, the boys lock up. Derek takes control right away, pushing Dax into the corner and pounding his gut.   Dax comes back with a big slam but it seems like he'd rather play than wrestle. Dax tries a sleeper and nibbles on Derek's ear. This sets Derek off and he goes on to dominate Dax for a while. A series of chokes drain Dax's strength and he looks to be close to defeat. Is Dax done or does he have another comeback left?   The guys aren't polished wrestlers (the strikes are very light) but at least they understand the concept of wrestling. Dax looks great suffering and Derek dishes it out pretty well. Shout out to the cameraman for getting many nice close-ups too.

Rising Indy star Danny Garcia takes on the veteran technician Drew on the July17, 2018 edition of 205 Live. Drew comes to the ring accompanied by The Brian Kendrick and Gentleman Jack Gallagher. Jack was released by the WWE earlier this year. Hopefully he'll resurface once the pandemic is over. After a long winded entrance, Drew turns his attention to Danny. Drew immediately flattens Danny with a big clothesline, which leaves him dazed. Drew follows up with a nasty looking backdrop-driver. Drew snatches Danny in a Dragon Sleeper he calls the Gu-lock and that's it. See the full match below.
