Dr. Maniacal chinlocks Slash Morgan: Hero Hunks (W4H)

Dr. Maniacal vs Slash Morgan: Hero Hunks (W4H) A chinlock can be a boring move, depending on the caliber of the wrestlers. Many wrestlers treat a chinlock as a "rest hold". Dr. M and Slash (aka Dimitri Darkthorn) don't rest in this hold, they work this hold. See my original review here. The Wrestler4Hire site has a big sale until March 11, 2022.

T-World vs Red Redemption (UKWH) Hook vs Bear Bronson (AEW) AJ Styles vs Grayson Waller My song of the week month is Two Out of Three Ain't Bad by Meat Loaf.  I am aware of the controversy around his passing but I'd rather not dwell on it and just celebrate the music.

Brendan Byers pins Cash Kellogg (Weekend Wrestling)

"Brutal" Brendan Byers vs Cash Kellogg (Weekend Wrestling) Cash Kellogg's muscles are almost useless in this match against Brendan Byers. Cash gets beaten down and pinned several times. See my original review here.

T-World vs Red Redemption (UKWH)

UKwrestlinghub is a relatively new underground wrestling site that I became aware of in late 2021. The bloggers at Ringside At Skull Island and KSW started reviewing their matches, inspiring me to check out the site. This match pits Champion T-World vs former tag team partner Red Redemption.  Red blames T for losing a previous tag match but T brushes him off. Red is looking for revenge and wants to take the UKWH Grand Championship Belt from T-World. T-World overpowers Red early on. Red is able to maneuver T-World into a Camel Clutch.  T-World responds with a camel of his own. T-World's attack takes its toll on Red. At the midway point, Red is down and gasping for air. T-World allows Red to get to his feet and take a free shot. Does T-World's cockiness cost him the match? Or does Red fail in his quest for redemption? I enjoyed this match. The guys tried hard and T-World particularly impressed me as the cocky heel. Of course, you probably know I have weakness for ginger guys....

Kid Vicious applies an Indian Deathlock and Pec Claw to Jace Bradley (BG East)

Kid Vicious vs Jace Bradley: Hunkbash 10 (BG East) The Indian Deathlock is a move you rarely see these days. Perhaps because it's a little intricate to set up. Kid Vicious shows his ingenuity by applying a pec claw while Jace is immobilised. See my original review here.
