Jean-Claude Van Damme stars as Luc Deveraux, a soldier killed in
the Vietnam War. His body was preserved and re-animated by the US government as part a program to design a genetically superior Universal Soldier.
Luc
starts to remember his past life and decides to disobey
orders to kill female journalist Veronica Roberts (played by Ally
Walker). He flees with Veronica to a remote hotel but he's wounded.
Luc needs to stay cool, so he strips all of his army clothes off except for his long white socks.
Veronica sees a story on the local news framing her for the murder of a her cameraman. Veronica can't get the phone in the room to work, so she goes outside. Luc follows her outside, still naked.
Luc tries to explain that it's unsafe for Veronica to be outside but he collapses from weakness and overheating.
Veronica crouches over Luc as he lays helpless and quivering. He manages to say "I need ice" before the scene jumps to Luc laying in a bathtub full of ice.
To be honest, this movie didn't hold my attention beyond this scene and another semi-nude scene later on, but it seems like a fun action movie that doesn't take itself too seriously. You can see this particular clip here.
