Ethan had defeated Chase in one of his earliest matches. Now, Chase is looking for revenge in this video from 88Wrestling.
As the video begins, Ethan and Chase decide that they want to wrestle in a stipulation match. After a little chit-chat, they agree to a low blow match, with the winner being the first to win 3 falls.
Ethan gets off to a strong start, slapping on a tight headlock before turning his attention to Chase's groin.
Chase shows a little more intensity than usual, taking the fight to Ethan.
I liked that this was a wrestling match with a few low blows, as opposed to a video all about low blows.
The match goes a full 5 falls. Can Chase get an elusive victory over Ethan or does Ethan keep his winning streak alive?
I noticed in the product description reigning 88W Champion Rex Bedford was mentioned and that Ethan was looking for another title shot. Hopefully this means Rex is coming back. I know I've missed him.
Joe at Ringside at Skull Island gave this match a glowing review. He called it "a new high point for 88W." I'm not sure I'd go that far, but I will say it's one of Chase's better matches.
