Two rising Indy wrestlers lock horns in this match from the International Wrestling Cartel.
Spencer Slade makes his entrance first. He's been a fixture at the IWC for several years and is clearly "over" with the crowd.
Spencer is hearing impaired and he wrestles with headgear to protect his hearing aids. He's used it to his advantage though, his catchphrase is "fear the gear".
Ashton is making his IWC debut and uses In the Air Tonight as his entrance theme. It's just a cover version though, not quite as dramatic as the original.
Ashton has packed on a lot of muscle since his early days. He looked much leaner and clean cut.

Spencer and Ashton lock up. Spencer shows his power by pushing Ashton down to the mat.
They lock up again, this time Ashton knocks Spencer down with a drop toe hold. Ashton shows off his guns to the crowd.
Ashton takes down Spencer with an arm bar and holds it for a few seconds.

Spencer powers his way out and Ashton shifts to a hammerlock, which Spencer counters with a fireman's carry.
Spencer applies an arm bar of his own but Ashton quickly works his way up.
Spencer shifts to a wristlock but Ashton counters with a tight headlock.
Spencer counters with a headlock but Ashton pushes him off.
Spencer knocks down Ashton with a shoulder block. Spencer goes for an anklelock, his finisher, but Ashton kicks him away.
Spencer almost had Ashton beat and he lets him know.
