Ashton Day looks to make an impact and defeat Spencer Slade in his International Wrestling Cartel debut.

Spencer and Ashton felt each other out in the opening minutes, covered in Part 1. Now that the two are familiar with each other, the pace quickens.
Ashton goes for a test of strength but Spencer kicks him in the gut and punches him.
Ashton turns the tide with a couple lucha style armdrags and a dropkick.
Ashton goes for the pin but only gets a 2 count.
At this point, I took notice of the cute referee and his bulging biceps.
As Spencer crawls on the mat in a daze, Ashton scales the top rope.
Spencer moves out of the way of an incoming Ashton and then drops Ashton neck first across the top rope followed by a leaping neckbreaker.
Spencer stomps Ashton in the face so hard, Ashton checks his teeth afterwards.
Ashton tries to fight back with a couple forearm shots but Spencer stops him and then executes an innovative swinging neckbreaker off the second rope.
Again, Spencer is only able to score a 2 count.
Spencer realizes he needs to wear down Ashton a bit more and applies a crevat (European headlock).
Ashton fights his way back up but then misses a wild dropkick, allowing Spencer to hit him with a big clothesline.
Spencer plays to the crowd a bit before delivering a high elbow drop.
Spencer applies a long chinlock and yells at the crowd. The camera doesn't pick up much of what Spencer says though.
Ashton eventually breaks out and surprises Spencer with a dropkick.
There's a little back and forth action before Ashton drops Spencer with a side suplex and gets a close 2 count.
Ashton tries to set up another suplex before Spencer picks his ankle and applies the anklelock.
Aston tries to roll through and break out but Spencer holds on and grapevines his legs.
Ashton tries to hold on but soon taps out.
Spencer shows he's the heel by stomping on Ashton's ankle after the bell.
Spencer does a lap around ringside before going backstage.
I get the feeling this match was cut for time as the finish just came out of nowhere. Overall this was a solid, well executed match.
Do the guys do enough to stand out of the pack on the Indy scene? Based on this match, I'm not so sure. In my opinion, Spencer has more appeal as a mainstream performer.
