Timothee was a big fan of Steve Carell prior to working with him in Beautiful Boy.

Timothee acknowledges a big Steve Carell fan in the audience.

Timothee admired Saoirse Ronan (I think it's pronounced Sir-shay) prior to working with her in Lady Bird as well and it seems the feeling is mutual.

I wish someone looked at me the way Saoirse looked at Timmy.

Timothee explains how the director of Call Me By Your Name threw Timmy and Armie Hammer in the deep end at their first rehearsal.

"We had a minute or two minutes of making out and Luca (the director) was just gone."

I've actually seen Beautiful Boy. I thought it was decent, but I wasn't blown away by it. For such a gritty story, I found the whole production too slick. Nonetheless, I may cover it someday.
