Timothee is interviewed about his movie Beautiful Boy and there's also a story about Call Me By Your Name at the end of the clip.
Timothee summarizes the plot of Beautiful Boy
"This is a story of how devastating addiction can be to a family..." |
"Hopefully it's a reflection of what people are going through now." |
Timothee was a big fan of Steve Carell prior to working with him in Beautiful Boy.
Timothee acknowledges a big Steve Carell fan in the audience.
Timothee admired Saoirse Ronan (I think it's pronounced Sir-shay) prior to working with her in Lady Bird as well and it seems the feeling is mutual.
I wish someone looked at me the way Saoirse looked at Timmy. |
Timothee explains how the director of Call Me By Your Name threw Timmy and Armie Hammer in the deep end at their first rehearsal.
"We had a minute or two minutes of making out and Luca (the director) was just gone." |
See the clip below.
I've actually seen Beautiful Boy. I thought it was decent, but I wasn't blown away by it. For such a gritty story, I found the whole production too slick. Nonetheless, I may cover it someday.
