IT'S STIIIING! This post is a follow up to one of my earliest posts.
Sting was defending his WCW World Title against monster heel Big Van Vader. Sting seemed to have the momentum against Vader, but it ended when he foolishly attempted a sunset flip. See the short but sweet clip below.
Vader squashed Sting with a sitdown splash and turned the momentum in his favor. Vader took a moment to pose for the crowd as Sting laid helplessly on the mat.
Vader delivered not one, but two elbow drops, getting some good elevation for a man of his size.
Vader looked to finish off Sting with a big splash but Sting managed to squirm out of Vader's pin.
Vader continued to assert his dominance with a lifting choke.
It would take a while, but eventually Vader would go on to defeat Sting for the title.
My favorite version of Sting!
ReplyDeleteI prefer Surfer Sting too, but I can see how Crow Sting was a necessary evolution of his his character.
