Wily veteran Jeff Jarrett (That's J-E-double F, J - A, double R, E, double T) looks to take the AEW International Championship from Orange Cassidy in this match from the March 15th edition of AEW Dynamite.
Orange came into the match with an injured left knee after Double J broke a guitar over it the previous week. After a lengthy feeling out process, Jarrett focused his attack on Cassidy's knee.
We pick up around the half way mark. Jeff has Orange down and sets up the Figure-4 leglock.
Jeff decides to stop and apply the sharpshooter instead. (This episode of Dynamite was held in Winnipeg, Canada and Jeff was poking fun at Canadian hero Bret Hart.)
Cassidy is able to push up and break out of the Sharpshooter and apply one of his own.
Jeff catches Orange in a sleeperhold and Cassidy fades.
The referee checks Cassidy's arm and it drops twice.
The ref goes for a third arm check but Cassidy powers up and breaks out of the sleeper with a jawbreaker.
Cassidy applies a sleeper of his own but Jarrett's sidekicks come into play.
Sonjay distracts the referee while Satnam grabs Cassidy and snaps his neck off the top rope.
The deck seems stacked in Jeff Jarrett's favor. Can Orange Cassidy come out on top?
