I've blogged about Sleepwalkers before. I think the movie suffers because it tries to be too many things. Is it a horror movie? Is it about forbidden incestual romance? Is it a teenage romantic drama? It's very violent at times, but never scary.  If not for the appealing cast, this movie would probably have been long forgotten.  Brian Krause as Charles in Sleepwalkers. The unedited screenshot.   Jason Steadman as Drew. Which version do you prefer? Drew just found the house where his friend Arnold was hidden but he's feeling drowsy and weak. Arnold manages to get Drew's attention and wakes him up. Arnold is has been turned partially turned into a plant but he's still able to talk. Arnold's legs are rooted into a pot so he can't just walk out. Drew has no choice but to try and drag Arnold out with the pot. Drew only gets a short way before the Goblin Queen comes in and knocks Drew out with a backhand. The blow sent Drew flying onto a bed. Based on the actual frame. AI Expanded Frame.
