John Gatins in Leprechaun 3: AI Enhanced #2

John Gatins as Scott in Leprechaun 3

Last time, Scott had just been attacked by the Leprechaun and was feeling sick. We pick up from here.

Scott walks back into the bedroom, collapses to his knees and then passes out. The actual scene was only a few seconds and had an obstructed view of Scott. I would've lingered a bit longer and given Scott some space.

A few minutes later, Scott wakes up and has a strong craving for potatoes. (See the top photo.) Meanwhile, the lucky gold coin changes hands several times. Scott runs into Tammy and then they run into the Leprechaun again. They escape, but Scott feels sick again.

Scott - "My insides are all twisted up."

"I'm in trouble, Tammy... Help me."

Scott sees the Pawn Shop across the street, where he initially found the coin and he tells Tammy they might find out some answers there.

There's another confrontation with the Leprechaun at the Pawn Shop but they manage to escape again.

Scott's still feeling sick, so Tammy takes Scott to the Hospital. Can Scott handle another battle with the Leprechaun? You'll have to watch (or look it up) to find out.

Scott's shirtless scene is around the 42 minute mark.

As far as low budget horror movies go, I thought Leprechaun 3 was pretty good. John Gatins performance was soap opera caliber but that doesn't bother me. The story moved along at a good pace, the script had some witty moments and many of the supporting characters made the most of their scenes.

I would give Leprechaun 3...  **1/2

Warwick Davis hams it up as the Leprechaun.

Fun Fact: John Gatins has a wrestling connection. He was a producer on the WCW backed wrestling movie Ready to Rumble. The reviews were poor and I gather the story mocked pro wrestling fans, so I've never bothered watching it.

John went on to success in Hollywood as a screenwriter and producer. His credits include Coach Carter, Flight (Oscar nomination for screenplay), Kong: Skull Island and the 2017 reboot of Power Rangers.
