The Ultimate Warrior got off to a strong start, steamrolling over Sgt. Slaughter in the opening minutes but a sneak attack from Randy Savage stopped Warrior dead in his tracks.
The Warrior suffered a back injury after Randy Savage drove a metal floodlight into his back. The Warrior was so injured he had to crawl his way back ringside. The Warrior should've been counted out but Slaughter kept disrupting the referee's count allowing him to finally make his way back.
Slaughter rolled Warrior back into the ring and it was clear the Warrior was defenseless. Slaughter reveled in the sudden shift in power.
Slaughter controlled the next couple minutes with methodical offense including forearms, stomps and a backbreaker.
