Ty Alexander vs Guido Genatto (BGE, 2016)

Two contrasting fan favorites collide in this infamous match from BG East.

The reason this match was controversial was because Alex at The Cave thought Guido's trash talk crossed the line and was offensive.

Guido dominated the match from the start and clearly took pleasure in humiliating and dominating Ty. Guido demonstrated his vast arsenal, keeping the action interesting. Ty didn't fight back but he showed his toughness by holding on as best as he could.

 

 

Did Guido go too far? It depends on your perspective. Guido was booked to be a heel and Ty the jobber. They played their roles well, perhaps Guido played his role too well. In short, I enjoyed this match, in spite of the controversy.
