CM Punk's All Out Media Scrum and Aftermath

I'm sure most pro wrestling fans have heard about the drama involving CM Punk and "The Elite" (The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega) and Adam Page, which boiled over following CM Punk's media scrum at AEW All Out.

There's heat between them because a member of "The Elite" told Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer that Punk was the reason their friend Colt Cabana (real name Scott Colton) was almost fired and then sent to Ring of Honor, a demotion from AEW.

Punk addressed the rumor before anyone could even ask him a question. By the way, AEW President and CEO Tony Khan was seated next to Punk and did nothing to stop him.

Punk - "Why I decide not to be friends with somebody is nobody else's fuckin' business."

Punk went into detail on why he and Colton fell out anyway. Colton sued Punk for not honoring a verbal agreement and paying all of his legal bills. (Punk and Colton contested a lawsuit against the WWE.)  Punk said they mutually agreed to part ways and insinuated Colton sued out of greed.

"(Colton) says and I quote, I agree to go our separate ways..."

"I will get my own lawyer and you don't have to pay anymore."

Punk says once he found out Colton shared his bank account with his mother, he countersued.

"We subpoenaed old Marsha (Colton's mother) and (Colton) sent the email "Oh, can we please drop this?"

Punk then turned his anger to the "Elite" who are also EVP's at AEW.

"The fact that I have to sit up here, because we have irresponsible people who call themselves EVP's..."

"Who couldn't fuckin' manage a Target and they spread lies and bullshit.."

"(They told the media) that I got somebody fired, when I have fuck all to do with him..."

Punk then turned his attention to "Hangman" Adam Page who made shoot comments against Punk in a promo leading to AEW Double or Nothing.

"What did I do in this world, to deserve an empty-headed fuckin' dumb fuck..."

"Hangman" Adam Page go out on National television and fuckin' go into business for himself?"

"What did I do Dave (Meltzer)?  What did I ever do?"

Meltzer says, "You tell me?" Punk doesn't think he did anything.

Punk continued his rant against the "Elite".

"There's people who call themselves EVP's that should've fuckin' known better. This shit was none of their business."

"When (Page) jeopardizes the first million dollar house that this company has ever drawn, off of my back..."

"It's a disgrace to this industry, it's a disgrace to this company."

"Now we're far beyond apologies, right. I gave him a chance, it did not get handled and you saw what I had to do." (Punk shot on Page in a recent promo.)

"I will still walk up and down this hallway and say, "If you have a fuckin' problem with me... "

"Take it up with me, let's fuckin' go."

The reporters tried to move on to other topics but Punk continued to stir up the drama.

"If you're an EVP, you don't try to middle your top babyface..."

"Try to get your niche audience on the internet to hate him for some made up, bullshit rumor, really pisses me off...We're trying to make money, sell tickets. These stupid guys think they're in Reseda*."

*Reseda, California was the hometown of Pro Wrestling Guerrilla for years, an independent wrestling company with a small but devoted audience. It's where the Elite members got their first significant push.

Punk took another shot at Adam Page for not listening to veterans before his interview came to an end.

"(Page said) in a public interview, "I don't really take advice." Who the fuck do you think you are? That's stupid."

After Punk finished his interview, he was confronted by The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega in his locker room.

Reports claim that Punk punched Matt Jackson and Punk's friend Ace Steel threw a chair at Nick Jackson's head and bit Kenny Omega and pulled his hair. It's still not clear who instigated the fight.

As of now, seven of the participants in the altercation have been suspended. Punk and the Elite have been stripped of their titles.

What happens from here? Should CM Punk be fired? Should the Elite be stripped of their EVP titles? Why didn't Tony Khan try to stop Punk at the press conference? Why wasn't Adam Page punished when he first shot on Punk? Will Punk and the Elite be able to work together in the future?

It will be interesting to see how this all unfolds. Can AEW translate their backstage drama onto the screen?
