My local beach, August 2023. |
I started this blog because I wanted to share my passion for underground wrestling and other fetishes. The truth is I don't have anyone around me to share these things with.
I don't have any gay friends in real life... And I never have. At this rate, maybe I never will.
At least I have this platform, so I've made a few virtual acquaintances.
It still seems like most people are reluctant to interact with me.
Yes, I'd prefer to be the bad guy in pro wrestling, but that doesn't mean I'm a bad guy in real life.
I don’t usually comment when I visit sites, but I want you to know that I very much enjoy coming here everyday and seeing what you post. It gives me a little cheer to my morning. Always keep that in mind.
ReplyDeleteThank you. I'm glad you enjoy the blog.
DeleteI understand completely. Nice beach by the way :)
ReplyDeleteI know there's like minded people out there. I've yet to make a real connection, but there's still time. Honestly, I'm not the easiest person to get to know either.
DeleteI try to maintain a sense of wonder about a sunset. I don't want to take living close to the beach for granted.
You’re a sweet person. Always enjoyed our interactions. Wish the best for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm sure you're a sweet person as well. I wish the best for you too.
DeleteLove your blog and appreciate all the work you put into it! I can totally understand your sense of aloneness. I also have a life-long appreciation for wrestling and was thrilled to find underground wrestling a few years ago. I have a couple of gay friends but they are not into it so seeing others who are interested and turned on by the same thing is comforting. Keep up the good work and know that you are not alone.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind words.
DeleteI don't say it is the same, but living in a conservative small town in Japan, my life is similar to yours, and I have the same reason why I started my blog. Most of my posts seem to be unreciprocated, but fortunately, I found a friend with the same taste via my blog and we have exchanged emails for years. He lives in a different country and we have never met, but we talk about not only wrestling but also our personal lives. I hope you will find one.
ReplyDeleteI also want you to know I visit your blog everyday. Thank you for your work.
Thank you Tets, for your support. I appreciate the work you put into your blog too.
DeleteFeel free to contact me, I would love to hear from you.

I understand where you're coming from, WR! (Except in my case, I find even online communication to be pretty intimidating...) But I think it's awesome from these comments, that sometimes we're reaching more people than we even think we are! Hang in there, and like Tets said, Thanks for your hard work!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sean. All the best to you and your blog.
