In Part 2, T-World spoke about his various opponents as he climbed the ladder at the UK Wrestling Hub. There's still a little more ground to cover before we begin winding down.
---------
You got to wrestle underground veteran Kayden Keller (who I interviewed just recently). What was it like wrestling someone you probably watched as a fan?
The overseas guests meant I did indeed get to meet Kayden. They say don't meet your heroes. I didn't realise they meant because they will piledrive you. Was a great match regardless and I'd more than love to face him again. We've both changed our physiques so much over the years that it would be awesome for more.

Are there any other matches or wrestlers that stand out to you that haven't been mentioned yet?
Whilst I've been mainly with UK Hub I've also got to meet up with a ton of others across the country and the world. One of my most enjoyable was Dimitri. I faced him in my early days and he showed me a few tricks to get that extra smolder for the camera and how to use that effectively.

Do you keep up with mainstream pro wrestling? Are there any pros that you would like to wrestle, if you could?
I have dipped in and out of today's pro wrestling, I buy the games ever so often and some of the younger talent I recognise and others I am clueless of. Of course the big names like Roman Reigns are going to keep me interested. I also got "hooked" on Hook. I think it's the attitude and confidence. Both wrestlers are radically different but both demand attention.
Like many of us, T-World is "hooked on HOOK." |
How about dream underground opponents? Who would you want to face, past or present?
Underground, I'm always keeping my eye out. I'm getting excited each time new wrestlers are added to rosters. UKWH have a few new faces such as Blake and Rich. True dream opponents would involve a plane ticket stateside I think. Brendan Byers would be a heel I'd like to test. There are some pretty boys also over there that need crushing like Kal "the wrestler", Tripp Evans or Dio Characi and of course Ash Deleon. I've already got to face some of my favourites and even Gabe Steel is on the cards soon. So who knows if these other names will soon be stood opposite me in the ring. We can only hope.
Brendan Byers seems to be a recurring favourite. |
Before I let you go, I just want to say that you've always looked in great shape, even in your early days. Do you have any general advice for people who are looking to start a fitness journey?
Oh so good of you to notice. I'd give a flex but I don't wanna tear this shirt. Best advice would be knowledge, time, patience. Like anything worth having, it takes all three. Set yourself (or with help of a coach) small goals and don't have them focus just on number on the scale; have a range of achievable targets. One extra rep, 30 seconds longer on a sprint, swap the fries in one meal this week for something else. That way if you don't hit 1 of those targets you've still got that pat on the back from another you've achieved. The human brain loves habit and routine. That's why crash diet don't often work; it's a massive change! Much of my online coaching guides people into this way of thinking.
What are your goals as an underground wrestler? Would you defend your UKWH Grand Championship overseas?
My goals when it comes to wrestling? Well size is a big one. 220lb of muscle should make sure I leave a solid footprint in the ring and I'd love to do that here in the UK and overseas. I've got a title belt, but a tag team belt does keep calling to me too. My issue is finding someone awesome enough to be worthy of standing in my corner with me. Those are big boots to fill but I will keep searching.
Thanks Tim for your time. Here's to continued success for you and the UK Wrestling Hub.
*On top his matches at the UK Wrestling Hub, there's also a lot of Tim World matches on WatchFighters, you can find them here - https://www.watchfighters.com/search?search=tim+world
It's so inspiring to see T World sharing the ring with one of his heroes, a true testament to his hard work and dedication. The potential matchups with future opponents have me on the edge of my seat! I'm eagerly awaiting the day we see T World as a two-belt champ. Keep pushing the limits!
