Jonny Firestorm is a true wrestler's wrestler. He has great technical skills, charisma and is equally appealing as a heel or babyface, in my view. He has played heel more often but I think he suffers as well as anyone. In Ball Bash 2, Jonny faces an opponent with similar qualities in Reese Wells.
Jonny and Reese exchange holds in the opening minutes. Jonny maintains the advantage by working over Reese's back.
Reese has short comebacks here and there.
Jonny's always able to counter though.
In spite of all the punishment he takes, Reese never submits. Jonny decides to target Reese's balls but Reese still doesn't give up.
A tombstone puts Reese down for the count but Jonny wants to punish Reese a lot more.
This match is an absolute classic, 40 plus minutes of great pro action. Jonny has an encyclopedic knowledge of wrestling holds and puts them to use here. Handsome Reese takes a beating better than just about anyone.
This is not just one of Jonny's best matches, I'd consider it one of BG East's best matches. Check it out!
