It's cricket season here in Australia, so I've decide to feature some of my favorite cricketers.
The sport of baseball evolved from cricket, so the games aren't that different. I personally prefer cricket over baseball. If a batsman is good enough, he can play a full innings. Test match cricket is too daunting for the uninitiated but 20/20 cricket (limited overs) is a good starting point. Those matches are usually quicker and more exciting than baseball, I think.

Cricket balls are very hard, so all that padding is necessary to protect the batsman. Injuries from being struck by balls are still common.
