Colby had just been injected with a powerful muscle relaxant. Ebony takes off Colby's gag and ropes as the drug takes its effect. Colby's too weak to speak or move.
Ebony shows a little compassion and tells Colby, "It'll be over soon."
Ebony calls the police to the motel room she sent Colby's housemate Robbo to. Colby sits helplessly as his body shuts down.

Ebony leaves Colby, thinking her job is done. Colby soon stops breathing and passes out.
Luckily, Dean and Willow (friends of Colby) come over and call an ambulance. Dean administers CPR very briefly before the scene ends.

There are scenes of Colby in the hospital but I found them a bit disappointing. The acting wasn't great and the whole thing felt too rushed.
